PS/MS 42 Presents“Aladdin Jr.”

The arts have returned to Rockaway schools.

The students of PS/MS 42 Q are participating in their second year of the Shubert Broadway Jr. / Music Theater International Grant. This is a grant in partnership with the Department of Education to provide the public and private schools with access to music, dance, art and drama.

Students in the middle school grades six, seven and eight work together to produce a Broadway show of their choice under the direction of a few dedicated teachers.

This year PS/MS 42 Q will be presenting

Disney’s “Aladdin Jr.” The show will be performed on the following dates and times in the school auditorium: Friday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 3 at 1:30 p.m.

If you attended last year’s production of “Fame Jr.,” we know you do not want to miss this year’s show. You are guaranteed to have a fun time. Also, be sure to visit the Art Gallery presented by the students in grades Pre K through five under the guidance of Ms. Sara Zaborowski, the very talented lower grade art teacher.
